This Krejza kid

Not watching the game, is he as dire as his figures suggest.

Maybe CW has found their replacement for AA and Rikki Clarke.

Nah. He's bowled as badly in this match as his figures suggest, but he's not actually that bad as such. He's bowled below his ability in this match.

That said, he's definitely not Test standard at the moment. I'm a fan but he's not even close yet, really.

Thought Casson had good potential.

To be fair the pitch is not spin friendly.
But on the other hand even yuvraj, the spin fraternity's bunny is scoring freely against him.

For mine it was worth the risk. We had a lot to gain if it worked, it didn't but little harm done.

Just hope the young fella's a resiliant cove. Can't imagine the sort of pasting he looks to have had (following scorecard only) would do wonders for a tyro twirler's confidence.

6 runs an over in India is far better than Hobart grade cricket. I'd be happy if I were him.

Tbh that's the only sense i can see in Krejza selection ahead of Casson, because for imo and probably even for the Aussie selectors Casson is a good long term option so they probably didn't want to him to get destroyed by Indian batsmen which could have dented his confidence pretty badly, so they threw in Krejza into the mix as even if he were to get arse raped by the Indian batsmen then also they wouldn't have had much to loose.

If Casson ends up being a good long term option I'll eat my computer. It's funny how he's turned into a Messiah so quickly. He's crap.

Hope you like the taste of it!

He is crap alright, but he is better than other ****ty spinners around in Australia atm.

^^ Yeah would be a good alternative career option for him, considering he seems to have no future as an off-spinner.

To be fair, Darren Pattinson copped a mauling this summer, and he was a bit of an unknown.. This kid appears to be a proven failure though and needs to prove otherwise.. I know it's India, but I'm not sure why they have to play a specialist spinner when the cupboard appears to be so bare..

Is Krejza still apparantly fully in line to play the opening Test?

I thought Casson playing the 1 he played in West Indies was bad.

Pattinson at least had form for his county. Krejza averaged in the low 40's for NSW, moved states and promptly averaged almost 50 for Tasmania instead.

Krejza or White, says Ricky.

I would go White as a third spinner (behind Katich and Clarke) and number eight bat... unless there is another specialist bat in the party?
