236 would be a tough ask for England, a collective effort is required from England if they want to win.

So if they are expecting KP,Colly and Freddie to score all the runs then they would lose pretty badly IMO.

Guys like Vaughan, Bell, and Joyce need to chip in with good knocks if England have to win this one.

Well yeah, but going by that logic, Flintoff should be dropped for Dalrymple. You can't have a lesser punishment for him just because he is Flintoff. Lewis is infinitely better than Mahmood at one day cricket - can't believe he isn't playing.
I completly agree with Princey, why have different yardsticks for Freddie just because he is a big star and Plunkett and Lewis aren't thats doesn't mean he should be treated any differently.
Genius writes its own rules, as the saying goes. I'd even go so far as to say if we hadn't been due to face yer Canucks after pedalogate Fred wouldn't even have been banned for one match. They were the only side we're pretty much guaranteed to beat sans the great man.

Sri Lanka to get 280-300
A Greig there, possibly?

Thoroughly professional performance from us in the field, let's just hope we don't make a horlicks of the chase now.

England must be playing Bopara as a specialist fielder as he hasn't bowled & is certainly not one of thw top 6 batsmen.

Stupid decision to play him over Strauss.

even if he's appearing as a 'specialist fielder', he's still proving to be more useful than strauss would be. strauss is a horrible one day batsman.

I agree that Strauss is no great shakes as a one day batsman but he is far better than Bopara and would contribute a lot more on average.

The fact that people can't tell whether it's out or not after several replays suggests the umpire just donated Sri Lanka a wicket. How can the umpire give something when there's absolutely no certainty?
