International Debutant
Hahaha Jesus Christ, was not expecting that at all. Love it though, totally class, even if it was against a team with no CW players in it. Was stoked with the 6-24 in the first Innings then Borcich went and crapped all over my figures in the second, absolutely amazing. Love playing for the seahawks :D

Nice to get some runs on the board as well. Great match all round, totally makes up for being dropped. :D

If only Das had been caught or the LBW given, disappointing to lose by an innings though

Mister Wright

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
I'm hoping with the Colts' bye I can get a game with the Broncos and get us back in the winners' circle. We're doing well on the table, but we can do better.

BARNES OUT
Hmm, so people like Wright or maybe even me will never play grade, therefore never get benefitted with a shot at the form boost?

EDIT: Unless our simming stats get boosts after we make decent scores in Dev League.

There are form boosts through Dev League performances too, similar to the way grade form boosts, but with slightly lower limits for boosts. (Theoretically, at least.)

Round 6 - 1 May

Campsfield Braves v Stedingham Jets
in Camps Field

Campsfield pros: Blackman, Collins
Stedingham pros: Gaukroger

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

A fullscale assault by Alex Blackman, worth 162 runs with seventeen boundaries, effectively ended any hopes of a Stedingham challenge in Camps Field. He came to the wicket second ball after Jahangir nicked Bala, then proceeded to lash into any and all bowling without discrimination. Stedingham imploded in the chase, and Collins could celebrate a win despite being the most expensive bowler.

Campsfield Braves (11pts) beat Stedingham Jets (0pts) by 127 runs
Man of the Match: A. J. Blackman (Campsfield)

Davistow Darters v Gofftown Tigers
in Heathridge Oval

Davistow pros: Raghav
Gofftown pros: Malthus, Thomas, Demeza

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

Red seamer S Raghav took four wickets as the Darters eked out a six-run victory, also helped by the hundred from wicketkeeper McDonagh. Thomas and Demeza bowled well without particular threat, and McDonagh and Dawlat were allowed to put on a crucial 154 for the third wicket. The Tigers crashed to 155 for seven, but Thomas and Jamaluddin nearly got the runs off Raghav; however, Dawlat and Raghav bowled well enough at the death to prevent a runaway victory.

Davistow Darters (8pts) beat Gofftown Tigers (0pts) by six runs
Man of the Match: T. N. McDonagh (Davistow Darters)

Fitzworthingham Broncos v Twybridge Titans
in Simmons Park

Fitzworthingham pros: Hogarth, Williams
Twybridge pros: Weber, Forner

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

A slow wicket produced a dull game, where both Hogarth and Medlow fell just short of a century after a 200-partnership. Rhys Williams bowled well enough to defend the mediocre target, taking four for 44 including two wickets at the death, though the game shouldn't have been close when the Titans were 117 for six.

Fitzworthingham Broncos (8pts) beat Twybridge Titans (0pts) by 13 runs
Man of the Match: R. Williams (Fitzworthingham Broncos)

Garven Island Sharks v Maddington Frenzy
in Clowich Stadium

Maddington pros: Syed, Payne. Youth: Malone jnr.

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

The Frenzy ran into unexpected trouble against rampant Sharks, whose early wickets set them back so much they were only able to post a target of 205, despite 23 extras. However, Lee Payne and Alamgir Syed exploited the conditions, and by the tenth over it looked hopeless. Piper staged a good recovery, but couldn't up the rate sufficiently.

Maddington Frenzy (8pts) beat Garven Island Sharks (0pts) by 16 runs
Man of the Match: L. R. Payne (Maddington Frenzy)

Nixonstown Foxes v Greater Robbham de Grooters
in CW Oval

Nixonstown pros: Luff, Dravid, +Gray, Fox
Greater Robbham pros: Amir, Mitchell

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

Ben Fox took six wickets on a bowler-friendly wicket to almost secure victory for his Foxes, with only Broadbridge (46) and Mitchell (12*) withstanding the onslaught. Amir, not to be outdone, answered with four for 26 in five overs including three professionals, but once again Fox stood tall with 55. Inexplicably, Amir was still kept out of the game, and the Foxes eked home with six overs to spare.

Nixonstown Foxes (9pts) beat Greater Robbham de Grooters (0pts) by three wickets
Man of the Match: B. B. Fox

Pickford Panthers v Edfield Seahawks
in Pickford Reserve

Edfield pros: Rai, Borcich

Scorecard

Man of the Match: N. C. Bhattacharjee (Pickford Panthers)
