We're now in an interesting place. To keep it simple, I think we should move straight to a ballot to select the three from each country. So there will be no answering of questions, etc. at this stage. Also in regards to the confirmation of nominees - I don't see the problem of just putting them in regardless, there are no negative connotations involved. They have all received at least three votes. Likewise though, if someone really wanted out, I wouldn't have a problem with that.

So if the general opinion is in agreeance with the above, I think we may progress.

Well in the end, people have had weeks to make themselves unavailable. So it's on.

Firstly - congratulations to Chubb and Prince EWS of Zimbabwe, chaminda_00, JASON and Migara of Sri Lanka and Goughy and Langeveldt of South Africa. You have been decided by your peers outright the best thinkers and communicators of your country of (or not of) choice. CricketWeb values your opinions and one day when CW becomes the superpower we know it will be, you will be at the forefront.

And secondly - let's get the final ballots underway! There are seven countries left and we need three final members from each country. Please vote for the three members you think would make the best selectors for that country. Any member who votes for themselves will be disqualified immediately and any member who votes for more than three members for a country will not have their votes counted. You may however, vote for less than three if you feel there are not enough worthy candidates. Final ballots will be launched in separate threads and the polls will last for a week. I will do two/three per week over the next three weeks.

Please note - nominated members may 'state their case' or announce bribes in their country's corresponding thread. I like cash.
