That round before was August 24, and as such, the players who played Chairmen's XI cricket were in two places at once. Ah well.

Shame we couldn't chase down a barely adequate total (even on the poorly-prepared Grade pitches). Still, the continued bowling form is comforting.

Good to re-establish a bowling partnership with Gough. Devastating opening spell from him. Its clear to see why Blacks are dominating the Dev league when such a good bowler can't get in.

Looks like my batting performance was crucial this time around. Its always good to win the close games, and those runs ensured that we just about had enough to defend.

A couple of Grade day-nighters allowed the Chairman XI to race down the motorways and still play Grade, apparently.
