YEAH! Some wins! Season starting to pick up, I hope. Gray and Dauth in good touch. Amir and Ritchie doing the business with the ball in both forms. West looks ok, too.

Despite being off to a bad OD start we're still in the mix. Sucks losing the last few FC matches though. Will have dented our hopes considerably.

Another all-roundish team effort to give us an easy win. The bowlers worked well as a unit and the batsmen went about chasing in a calm fashion. Pleasing signs from Kyle, after a poor OD start, Bosco and Cole.

Very good bowling, terrible batting, both on a personal and team note. Still, a win is a win and we'll just have to score more runs in the next game.

Stoked to score 21 in a 50 run partnership :O 9 wickets was good turn of form, as well.

Cricket Web Black vs Masters XI
at Pickford Reserve

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

Another day, another insane pair of centuries and fantastically huge margin of victory for Black. Stedman and Chaulk were separated for 169, after Stedman had made 110, but Chaulk batted through the innings and ensured a massive total.

With Cloete and Smith supporting Chaulk well, the Black veteran wicketkeeper could reach 139 not out, despite not even scoring at a run a ball. There was a threat that 313 wasn't quite good enough - but with Gough and Gelman limiting things with new ball swing, those fears were quickly allayed. Justin Kemp's 36 also went through the innings, but Black dominated utterly, and 134 runs was not one too little.

Cricket Web Black 313 for two (50)
Chaulk 139*, Stedman 110

Masters XI 179 for nine (50)
Kemp 36*; M Smith 4/38, Gelman 2/27, Gough 2/29

Cricket Web Black won by 134 runs

Mike Wilson and Daniel Towns stole a victory in front of ecstatic home fans, who had seen their team slip to 56 for four in chase of a modest target. Ultimately, however, Red's lack of one-day prowess proved costly.

Red had been inserted, and after cautious batting to 40, Wright and Spinks took a wicket each to see the stalwarts Mørk and Dauth together. The pair added an impeccable hundred, However, Red failed to accelerate, with only Zac Ritchie's unbeaten 43 helping the total up to 233 for nine - while Kyle Wright took a deserved five-for.

David Kennett responded with four wickets in the early innings, but Towns and Wilson knew what was needed. Undeterred, they wore off the slow bowling and drove Mørk to desperation, adding 134 runs for the fifth wicket as both passed fifty with ease. A late wicket from Martin West helped little, and Colts won in the penultimate over.

Cricket Web Red 233 for nine (50)
Dauth 73, Mørk 63, Ritchie 43*; Wright 5/50, Dunn 2/45

Cricket Web Colts 234 for five (48.5)

Cricket Web Blue vs Cricket Web Green
at PDV Dome

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

In a thrilling match at the Dome, Cricket Web Green ultimately prevailed by seven runs, though by the 40-over scores they had no right to triumph. Xavier Rose and Ethan McNamara came up with the death bowling goods, however, and secured an unlikely seven-run win.

Liam Camps had a nightmare game yesterday, and continued the start with three four-balls to Rob Malone at the Dome. However, by trapping him lbw he had a brief laugh, in an innings where the bowling was occasionally accurate but mostly fodder.

Dinnen and Corrin reestablished order for Green, adding 96 for the third wicket, but the acceleration proved a serious problem. Green were eight down by the 35th over, and Forner and McNamara had enough with supporting Garven - which they did well enough, despite barely scoring runs. Camps was not fortunate enough to bowl during this period, and ended with sixty runs in the against column, though the wickets of Scott, Malone, Mamesh and Dubb-Lynch were hard earned. Sriram closed the innings off, as Blue had a relatively sedate task.

However, despite not getting any luck with wickets, Green's bowling was decent enough. Fuller and de Silva looked to have things well under control, however, and the Blue innings was largely uneventful until eleven runs were required off the final twelve balls. Then, bizarrely, a change of gear was impossible. De Silva wafted at four McNamara deliveries without contact, and the equation changed to ten off six - Fuller hoiked out to Dubb-Lynch, Young managed a single off the third balll, before de Silva dragged on Rose. Despite a Crampton single, there was little Blue could do, defeated in embarrassing fashion.

Cricket Web Green 242 all out (48.1)
Dinnen 63, Corrin 56, Garven 55*; Camps 4/60, Maina 3/56, Sriram 2/46 (9.1)

Cricket Web Blue 235 for three (50)
Fuller 117, de Silva 77

Cricket Web Green won by seven runs
