yea well this is supposed to be a fun competition for all, and unfortunalty some people are going overboard and killing it. lets just get back to the good old days, were there was no bitching and moaning and everbody can enjoy there time with thier dev teams

Personally I find that comment hard to take, as you say people have been going overboard, but IMO you've just been adding fuel to the fire. Read over your posts about the discussion, and then think about what you have to do with the situation.

Just my opinion, but i do feel you are contradicting yourself.

maybe i have been adding fuel to the fire, but the fire was already lit. i was just trying to support a fellow player - lets leave this crap out aye, im going to. perhaps if someone really feels the need, start a thread. im done posting on this topic

How are your posts after the captain's comments staying out of the matter.

I'm not happy with my performance. 28 off 32 balls, and 43/1 off 10 overs doesn't sound that bad, but I let the team down on at least 2-3 occasions. :(

I got out at a critical stage, we were 166/4, and on target for 250-ish. But, I played an extravagant drive, and managed to just edge to the keeper.

Plus, two drops catches

Anyway, I'm sure we can come back. It's been a roller-coaster ride the last few matches, but good times are ahead... Let's not lose hope.

Very dissapointed to be 12th man. Thought i was a chance to make the 11 after a mediocre performance in the smash25
It's exceptionally difficult to drop people when your team can't stop winning. The only dropping around the Black camp at the moment appears to be every other catch that comes our way (ho hum).

A few hours' catching practice next week... I'll get Carlton Baugh sent over especially.

Apologies for that 5-0-32-0 tripe, by the way guys, thanks to the change bowlers for clearing us out of the mess. TEAM!

Carlton's giving us the catches. Harmo's bowling, and Carlton's just gonna fend the ball in the general slip region, just like usual.

Daily Blast Comment: Catches win matches, but they more often lose them. The Green bowlers suffered from the slipshot fielding that has seemingly taken hold of Cricket Web cricket this season. Blewy and Age Master tried their best to counterattack and gain some honour, but they were playing from behind.

Cricket Web Red 1st Innings 198 all out
Cricket Web Red 2nd Innings Following On 200 all out
Cricket Web Black won by an Innings and 109 runs.

Daily Blast Comment: This game was lost by the Reds on the first day and won in tremendous fashion by the Blacks. Ordinary bowling and some sensational batting set the tone from day one. A couple of fantastic hundreds ensured the Reds sweated in the field sufficiently to be dismissed cheaply in both innings to follow. Good rear-guard from Marc, but in a frustratingly desperate cause.
