Sim a match

I'm a bit bored, I'm now simming the Pakistan - England series coming up, will up results when done.

I'm using stats from the last 2 years as simming stats, and for players that haven't played a Test in that time, I'm using FC average take away 5 for batsmen and plus 5 to the bowling average.

Well Pakistan won the series 2-1, but England, although set a big target in the 2nd Test, at one point needed 100 to win with 7 wickets in hand, and also only needed 4 to win with 2 in hand, then Flintoff got out. They also completely dominated the 3rd Test.

Have a fear it might be spot on too, apart from Afridi hitting more than 350 runs in the series. If that happens I'll have a Pakistani flag in my sig for a month.

Stranger things have happened. England winning the Ashes and people having to put stuff in their avatars for example

WRT Afridi, my gut feeling is he'll have one big score and do **** all for the rest of the series (IRL).

I've simmed the series now a few times, and that was the only Pakistan victory.

Looks a walkover to me - where pretty much that same batting line-up struggled against McGrath, Warne and co, they're now facing Pathan, Zaheer, Kumble and Harbhajan

Sim a match - Worst of the worst Cup

Presenting a competition to find out the absolute worst of the worst teams.

What you have to do:

Submit a team of 11. The players should have played at least five test matches.

The submission should contain:

Player
Batting Avg
Batting Strike rate
Batting position
Bowling Economy
Bolwing strike rate
Bowling type
Wicket keeping catches,stumpings
Total matches played by the player

(All test stats)

You cannot have a specialist batsman bowl or a specialist bowler bat higher up the order. Specialist openers will open, keepers keep etc.

The object is to lose the match to qualify to the next round. The team which remains winless in the competition wins.

Submit your team and join in the fun. A player once taken by a user cannot be taken by any one else. So submit early or you may not get the worst players.

Lol! Nah I won't enter because I don't know enough terrible, terrible, players!

I think you should put a few more restrictions on selection, as otherwise I could just pick 11 wicketkeepers (or even specialist batsmen) with atrocious batting averages (and there are plenty), none of whom can bowl. Might post an XI tomorrow if I get time, about to sleep now.

I can imagine some reaction to some matches: "Well played Bloggs, 0/200 was just what we wanted!"
