If we started to have reserve days to finish the games off then we would then start arguing about pitch conditions and how they are changing from one day to the next, one day its got too much grass then the next its dried up a bit or cracks have opened up so on and so forth. In the case of rain it will never seem fair but I think if you work on Murphies law we should be favoured about 50% of the time and get robbed 50% of the time.

Solution:

Retractable Roof on all International Stadiums? You would close it as soon as it starts to rain...

Yeah it costs extra, but in the long run will the cost outweigh the lost revenue for incomplete games? It would also help eliminate draws in Test Cricket (due to rain obviously)

Not even close. Not unless "the long run" means "freakin' years". There are relatively few washouts or even rain-reduced games, especially in Australia. Aside from this season, can't remember the last rain-affected ODI in Australia.

England seems to lose almost 6 hours per county game to rain and/or bad light...
