If Ponting uses it he would be a hipocrite - that said Andrew Symonds could well end up a legitimate 12th man as some point in the series.

The thing I don't get is how they can get so much treatment and chat in the 2 minutes or so they're off the field.

Ryan Le Who? Never even heard of the bloke, I'd hardly call him a specialist substitute fieldsman along the lines that Pratt was used.

And why not?

What exactly is the difference between one team picking using a sub who's nowhere near the team but is no doubt handy in the field and another team doing exactly the same?
