End-of-season Friendlies - Availability Thread

See this thread for discussion on what kind of games there will be

This thread is just to see who is actually wanting to get involved. For those not in the know: These games will not count towards List A / FC stats and are completely friendly games on par with what in the 'real world' would be a charity game. As for what kind of games are due to be played, there will be a Batting XI vs. Bowling XI five-day game with the teams picked based on the performances of the recent season. Maybe also an OD game on a similar vein. As for the other games, go check out that link at the top of this post.

Once we know who is involved and what games we want to play, we can get started... so be quick please. :p Just post your name to sign up, and if you don't want to play, make sure you're clear on that if you're posting in this thread. :)

EDIT: Oh, and everyone who is available should expect to play at least some kind of game. That's generally assured.

Should any of them not take up the offer, then the following will come into play (in order)...
Bowling XI: Rose, Mitchell, Patrick, Fuller, Wright.
Batting XI: Bowen, Malone, Morris, Cribb, Butler.
EDIT: Malone, Mamesh and Cloete all too late. :p

Perhaps the biggest surprise in the naming of the sides is the inclusion of one HT Davis, who despite being ranked 23rd in the wickets for the season, managed to have the third highest average, 11th best BBI, 14th most 5w hauls and had the 5th best strike rate for his five matches. West, who had played just nine matches, similarly pushed his way in through a strong average (4th best), number of 5w+ hauls (8th) and a quality strike rate (7th).

There was little surprise in the batting lineup, although Bowen might feel hard done - by comparison to those around him, his average and high score left him missing out on the first choice lineup.

Qualification required either 20 wickets or 500 runs. Batsmen judged on number of runs, average, high score, number of 50+ innings and number of 100+ innings. Bowling judged on number of wickets, average, best bowling in an innings, number of 5w bags and strike rate. Captains to be named once the individuals are declared available - and the Batting XI captain can have fun deciding on who, outside of Smith and Garven, will be able to take wickets... as they are the only two that have had a bowl this season!
