Hmm, the Serb could have won to be honest, looked like he touched first on the replay. Wouldn't be much of a story if he did though.

The touch pads are electronic, I doubt they were not functioning. It's not cricket where they rely on some old geezer's eyesight. :p

Pretty clear in the last two frames, who hit and who didn't or at least who touched it hard enough for the sensors to recognize.:)

I think they withdrew the protest after looking at the evidence.
I think what Clapo said is what was reported here. Serbia protested right after the games and the officials went to analyse the images straight away and quickly dismissed the protest and only then did the whole thing leak to the media.

Anyways, go Hackett, been waiting for this all Olympics.
