That is true. I just don't think that was what Richard originally meant with his point though. :)
I didn't read the original post. I tend to find discussions on here get a lot more . . . interesting . . . when I reply to posts ignoring the original context.

I can confidently say that I won't be able to get Steve Smith or Virat Kohli out even if they played me continuously for over an year. That's my bowling.
They'd probably get caught trying to slog/score off you (or anyone on this forum) to be fair. Only takes a very small mistimed hit.

Looking back on my modest batting career, I know that 50% my dismissals were of my own making, another 45% were good deliveries that I failed to handle and 4% had me shaking my head and wondering what happened.
The other 1%? Umpire error.
