Yeah, just the 943 international wickets for Murali in the 2000s.

lol.. but he was around from like 1993 or something man, come on. Its cheating a little bit to say he is a noughties cricketer. Even though he had his most success then, to me he is part of the generation of Lara, Sachin, Warne etc. and it is the 90s, damnit.

Murali's peak period was from 1998 to 2008. That's 2 years in 90s and 9 years in 00s

Gilchrist's entire career was in the period in question. Sure, it's a relatively short career but I think he should still be a shoo- in here.

Difficult cutoff 2000. Cutting off at 1990 or 2010 gives more unambiguous set of players to rank
